They are referring to it as “Dating Awarness.” But let me tell you how it works.

All the girls are given a heart at the beginning of the day and the first guy she talks to, she must give him the heart. And at the end of the day, the guy in each class with the most hearts gets a bag of candy.

As an alumni it makes me ashamed to have gone to this high school.

Why in the world are they doing doing this? What group is behind this hairbrained idea? What purpose does this serve?

This is not academic, this is not school spirit. This is just wrong. I have no idea how this raises ‘Dating Awareness’. This just pisses me off and makes me ashamed of my former high school.

I survived my presentation. Midterm week of doom is almost over. All that’s left is my coastal morph exam, finishing last week’s remote sensing lab, doing this week’s remote sensing lab, and finishing that landscape biogeo lab.

Spring break is next week, I’m almost counting the hours until I go freeze my ass off in the mountains with the bestie I haven’t seen in like two years.

Mom made me promise not to go skiing and break a leg…or arm… or any other bone. I told her with my luck I’d fall down some stairs at the airport before I even made it outside.
